Make the soup. Mix 2 tbsps of Sour & Spicy Soup Powder, 1 tbsp of chili flakes, 1 tbsp of fish sauce and 1 tbsp of sugar into a coarse paste. Bring a pot of water to a boil, add the paste and stir well. Add your preferred protein, such as boiled minced pork, prawns or meatballs, then add the Mee Chiet Original Flavor noodles and cook until tender. -
Taste, finish and plate. Taste the soup and adjust the sour, spicy, salty or sweet balance to your liking. If you want a poached egg, add it directly to the soup at this stage and cook it to your preferred doneness. Plate the noodles with your prepped morning glory or chosen vegetables, then serve hot.
